Temple Highlights

This temple is situated at Sai Nagar in Madakasira Town of Anantpur District of Andhra Pradesh. The temple is present opposite to Government Hospital and at about 1 kilometer distance from Amarapuram Bus Stand.

This is the 1st Sand Stone Temple in South India built at a cost of 3 Crore rupees.

The Temple Bhoomi Pooja was performed on 12th July 2000.

The Temple is built on a spacious 1 acre of own land purchased by the Temple Trust from the local authorities.
The Temple was inaugurated on 19th May 2010 by his holiness late Sri.Sai Kaleshwara Swamiji of Penukonda in presence of Trust Members and large number of local Sai Devotees.
Shri.O.Chandrashekara Reddy is the founder President of the Temple. The temple trust is taking care of the day to day activities and overall development of the temple.

A Beautiful Marble Idol of Shirdi Saibaba about 5.4 ft is present in the Sanctum Sanctorum of the Temple.

Marble Idol of Nandi is present opposite to Saibaba Idol as in Shirdi.

Marble Padukas are installed in front of the Saibaba Idol.

Marble Idols of Ganesha and Dattatreya are separately installed on either sides of the main Temple in small shrines.

A small shrine dedicated to lord Hanuman is present opposite to the main Temple where a 2.5 feet black stone idol of Hanuman is installed. 

A 5.5 feet Idol of Mother Mary is installed in the Garden behind Hanuman Temple representing “Sarva Dharma Samanvya”. 

Dwarakamai is situated on the left side of Hanuman Temple where the sacred Dhuni is installed. Life size photograph of Dwarakamai Saibaba and two Handmills are present near the Dwarakamai Saibaba photograph.

A Meditation Hall is present in the cellar of the Temple where a beautiful Marble Idol of Saibaba is present.  

A Dining Hall with a capacity of 100 members is present next to the Meditation Hall in the cellar of the Temple.

A place for breaking the tender coconut is present near the entrance gate.

  • Shashwatha Pooja is performed on payment of Rs.1501/-.
  • Shashwatha Annadana Seva is performed on payment of Rs.10116/-.
  • Annadanam for 1 day is performed on payment of Rs.1116/-.
  • One Day Prasada Seva is performed on payment of Rs.300/-.
  • Thursday Special Pooja is performed on payment of Rs.2000/-. The Seva includes Palanquin Utsav, Evening Prasadm and Bhajan Seva.
  • Shanti Homam is performed on Poornima Day of every month from 9:30AM to 12 PM on payment of Rs. 516/-.
  • Satyanarayana Pooja is performed on Poornima Day of every month from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM on payment of Rs.516/-.
  • Sankashta Chaturthi is performed every month from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on payment of Rs.516/-.
  • Samoohika Vishnu Sahasranama Parayana is held during Badrapada Masa of every year.
  • Samoohika Hanuman Chalisa Parayana is performed regularly in the temple.
  • Samoohika Guru Charitra Parayana is performed on Datta Jayanthi Day of every year.
  • Samoohika Bhagavad Gita Parayana is performed on Geeta Jayanthi Day of every year.
  • Laksha Deepotsava is performed during Kartika Masa of every year.
  • Samoohika Sai Satyavratham is performed on Guru Poornima Day of every year.
  • Sai Bhajans are held every Thursday from 7:30 PM to 8:50 PM.

Social Service Activities

This Temple is one of the few temples in India where daily Annadanam is performed to about 200 Sai Devotees and to about 600 Sai Devotees on Thursday’s.

Future Projects:

The Temple Trust has undertaken the construction of 3 storied building in a vacant place situated next to the Temple. A Dining Hall with a seating capacity of 200 Members is being constructed in Ground Floor. Free Hospital catering to General, Dental, Eye and Heart is coming up in the 1st Floor. Houses for Temple Employees and few Guest Rooms are being built on the 2nd Floor of the new building.
